I tell stories — for a podcast, for the page and sometimes (if you catch me on the right night ) ... on the stage. I read a lot. I love to brunch. My bylines go back a dozen years — first as a crime and government beat reporter for Florida's biggest and best newspaper, next as host and producer of an award-winning show about race and class from Missouri's biggest public radio station and PRX.
My latest chapter: joining an incredible team at USA Today to help male stories for The City, a podcast about how power works in urban America.
My happy place is the yoga mat. I'm a serious shopper and a silly poet. I'm in your face. I'm in your ears.
