based in St. Louis
I tell stories — for a podcast, for the page and sometimes (if you catch me on the right night ) ... on the stage. I read a lot. I love to brunch. My bylines go back a dozen years. I traded a top job at Florida's biggest newspaper for a top job at Missouri's biggest public radio station. My happy place is the yoga mat. I'm a serious shopper and a silly poet. I'm in your face. I'm in your ears.
I’m in the middle of my next pivot.
I am leaving my position as co-host and co-producer of We Live Here, the award-winning podcast about race and class from St. Louis Public Radio and PRX.
I’ve loved pouring myself into the work and the community for the past three and a half years. I’ll miss the team a whole lot and the audience especially. I’m so lucky to have been able to amplify vital narratives for people somewhere on the woke spectrum. But I don’t plan to stop, and I’m not leaving St. Louis.
I’ll be able to share more about my next move soon. Until then, keep listening and stay woke.
