I tell stories — for podcasts, for the page, and sometimes (if you catch me on the right night ) ... on the stage. I read a lot. I love to brunch. My career has had many chapters — first as a crime and government reporter for Florida's biggest and best newspaper; next as host and producer of an award-winning show about race and class from Missouri's biggest public radio station and PRX; then as senior producer of The City, a podcast from USA Today and Wondery about how power works in urban America.

My latest pivot: Continuing to shape stories as a program director and executive producer at Stitcher Studios (part of SiriusXM). I manage people and projects, all the while figuring out how to make the industry better with my own entrepreneurial endeavors. 

Of course, the extra important stuff happens outside the office — whether it’s practicing and teaching yoga, putting on one-of-a-kind events in my community, or doing my best to be the cool auntie.
